Job Description

GDIT is hiring a Sr. Assessment/Data Analyst for the Tampa FL area.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment through quantitative and qualitative analyses

  • Evaluate and execute assessment strategies requiring collection metrics related to both individual and team performance and program objectives

  • Restructure data from various sources, and analyzing the data to provide actionable insights

  • Employ superior written communication to create meaningful stories by combining quantitative (e.g., correlation, trends over time) and qualitative data

  • Utilize empirical methods to conduct exploratory and explanatory research using available data to determine MOP and MOE

  • Work with team and stakeholders to develop sound new evaluation methods

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Qualifications Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related work experience with statistical modelling (e.g. regression, time series, hierarchal modelling)

  • Experience with statistical analysis using R and/or Python and applying advanced mathematical and analytical models, probability models, statistical interference, simulations, and optimization

  • Proven experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods and strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven intermediate Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, formulas, create/update graphs)

  • Proven advanced data analysis skills, including the ability to understand and work with structured data in standard (e.g., CSV, JSON) & nonstandard delimited formats.

  • Will provide preliminary error checking (e.g., ensure correct parsing, missing values, valid data types)

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited university with a major in the Mathematics, Statistics, or Social Sciences (Behavioral Science, IO Psychology, Economics, etc.)

  • Minimum Secret clearance required; accepted candidates will be submitted for TS/SCI. Active TS/SCI eligibility preferred.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience using SQL to manipulate & analyze data stored in relational databases (e.g., MS Access, PostgreSQL)

  • Ability to devise measurement strategy given a research question and existing data constraints

  • Familiarity with advanced analytics (e.g., SNA, NLP, ML)

  • Familiarity with data visualization including experience with common visualization software (i.e., R, Tableau, PowerBI)

  • Familiarity with Program Evaluation Theory

  • Knowledge of Behavioral or Social Sciences

  • Experience with survey design and analysis

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
